One of the best burritos I've had in a long time , this place is a little hidden gem in ridge wood . Very small kitchen putting out big flavor and great vibes . The owner is a very nice woman who gives you plenty of information on the menu & great recommendations. Overall my friends and I give it 10/10 5 star and will be back

Burritos are large and flavorful- they know how to roll and set a burrito... By the way, they now open 12pm- no longer 11am...I think they should compromise and open 11:30am.

Vegan menu! You can sit outside! Pleasant attentive and warm helpful service. They made a mistake with the bill and fixed it immediately. I got the mission burrito. My friend got a Pedro's papas. "Every once in a while you get a lime flavor, then cilantro, and it's just yum!" The kid got a quesadilla. She liked.

My partner and I shared a massive plate of steak nachos here recently - definitely worth the price! The team at Burrito Republic greeted us with a smile and made our order fresh upon ordering. Would recommend!

I never tried the food. This review is literally for the lady working Valentine's Day. I am a delivery driver and I came to pick up an order. This lady as always was just so friendly but what made my day was the heart shaped lollipop she gave me . I was down having to work but that cheered me up. My daughter destroyed it though lol .

My brothers and I were having a few drinks at the nearby Finback Brewery when we decided to grab some food. Since Finback allows outside food to be consumed on premises, we thought it would be a good idea to grab some burritos to complement our beer. Since it was one of my brothers' birthday, we let him choose and he decided on Burrito Republic. You didn't need to convince me this was the right choice - I'm always down for burritos so I was super excited to try this place out. Since BR offers delivery, we opted for that instead of going to pick it up. Burritos are the obvious star of the menu, but they also have a selection of starters, tacos, breakfast, and an entire section of vegan options. I noticed some of the burritos had California-esque names, and the Mission was the one that stood out to me the most (perhaps due to my recent trip to SF and consumption of burritos in The Mission). The Mission contained Tinga chicken, red rice, black beans, cheese, jalapeños, sour cream, and guac. The burrito was really good - I didn't expect it to be as heavy on the rice and as light on the chicken than it was, but overall the flavors were there and worked well together. It was also huge, but they seared it shut which allowed it to be easily consumed without falling apart. We also ordered a side of chips and salsa which were also good - the chips were those super crispy restaurant style ones which made them ideal for munching. Overall, I was really impressed with Burrito Republic. It's hard to find good Mexican/Tex-Mex food in NY, and this was some of the better fare that I've had in the area. I would have no qualms returning for some more burrito goodness.

I wanted a burrito from a place that wasn't shitpotle. I used the yelp app to find a place close to my job and Burrito Republic was it! First one in when they opened and had my food ready in 10 minutes. I went with the signature fajita burrito which had sautéed peppers & onions, sour cream, pinto beans, cilantro-red rice, cheddar and jack cheese. Everything you could ever want! Also added pork carnitas. The end result was a massive burrito the size of a small child which I anihilated completely. Bonus points for the burrito being toasted which not many places do I find and it also did not rip open while eating. This place is great and the shop owner seems pretty cool. EAT HERE!!
